SPACE SERVICE

Hood Space Ground Authority

A paid service for payload and ground-segment teams. Hood governs what ground software and AI agents are allowed to command, requires a person to approve a high-consequence command, and keeps the evidence.

What the customer buys
A written evaluation of command authority for their ground software and agents. If it fits, an enterprise deployment. Scope and price are set in the agreement.
Who buys it
Payload teams, ground-segment teams, and mission-software teams that already operate a space system or a ground simulator.
What they receive
An authority boundary for ground commands, approval on high-consequence commands, and an evidence record. The Orbital Product Passport is that record.
What Hood does not sell
Launch, a spacecraft, onboard flight software, or a flight-certified part. A ground login is not on-orbit authority.
How the sale works

Evaluation first. Deployment second.

1. Evaluation
Hood reviews the commands the customer's ground software and agents can request, and writes the authority boundary.
2. Agreement
Price, systems in scope, and support are written down. This is not a $30 software plan.
3. Deployment
Hood installs the control path on the agreed ground systems. Commands outside the boundary are held or denied, and the result is recorded.

Availability and claims

This service governs ground software and agents. It is in development as a productized deployment and is sold as a scoped evaluation. It is not flight-certified, not space-qualified, and not a claim that Hood hardware is on orbit.
