Isolation and Multi-Agent Systems

Stop one actor from spending another's permit, and store a message as a message.

Explanation

What you are learning

Recommended first: HIOP Fundamentals. You can still study this lesson.

Isolation means one actor cannot spend another actor's permit. Operator receives a fresh PERMIT for lab.observe. Actor other presents that nonce. The binding is rejected because the actor does not match. A message from operator to other is then stored. The message creates no permit, and it does not execute. An inter-agent message is a message. It is not authority moving between agents.

Worked example

Teaching workstation

These fields were returned by the teaching workstation for this lesson. They are not a production permit.
